It’s official: the shortstop’s levels are no longer schizoid, so the Metsies are no longer devoid, and Jose Reyes is no longer underemployed. Hopefully, rumors about a a close relation to a steroid won’t be deployed, hurling the souls of Mets fans into the great void, with recurring dreams of Cliff Floyd and pain from the karmic baseball hemorrhoid. Think I’ll go listen to the Voidoids. Did the Mets just sign Graeme Llloyd? Before you call Sig Freud, please understand I’m overjoyed. (And no longer want to hear anything more about the thyroid).
